Carola Ramírez (Santiago, Chile) is a visual artist educated at Escola Massana in Barcelona, Spain, and a graphic designer who graduated from Diego Portales University in Chile. Her work seamlessly blends these two disciplines, beginning in the digital realm and culminating in the analog. Her creative process starts with photography, where the captured scene is digitally manipulated to give it a more graphic appearance. The final step involves painting the transformed image onto a canvas. Her work delves into themes related to urban life, solitude, and those familiar places that, over time, become part of the collective memory of their inhabitants, forging connections and a sense of identity.
