Unique Work
Silvio Porzionato (Torino, Italy, 1971) is a figurative painter known for his large oil paintings. He photographs friends and strangers, depicting them in statuary close-ups. This personal connection in his portraits transcends the private dimension, turning them into icons of the human race and creating a sense of connection with the viewer.
After graduating from art school, Silvio worked as a head designer for a decade before moving to the countryside to focus on nature and art. He quickly gained recognition, winning the Mondadori Art Prize and the Critics' Prize at Saluzzo Art. He created a permanent work for the Museum of Urban Art in Turin and was selected for the 54th Venice Biennale. In 2013, he created "Temporal Code," a series of 112 paintings for the MACS. His recent exhibitions have been held in major cities worldwide, including Hong Kong, Miami, Chicago, London, Paris, Bogotá, New York, Seoul, and Istanbul.
